Advertising for a shop
Sally needs to know how many people are being reached in her advertising and what type
of advertising is the most cost effective.
- Use the file spreadsheet shopadvertising.xls Save in your own folder as YourSurnameAdvertising.
- Calculate how many people are reached per rand per advertisement. (Division)
- Calculate the Total number of people reached if she places 2 newspaper, 1 radio and 5 TV
advertisements. (Multiplication)
- What would be the total cost of all the advertisements as above? (Multiplication,
SUM)
- Format the currency cells as currency and the number cells as number.
- In File / Properties add your name as the author.
- As a footer add the file name left, Prepared by ... and the date centre.
(Add as a mixture of normal and custom footers.)
- Print and hand in the solution.
