Valentine's Day

The children were taken on a picnic on Valentine's Day 2002. The learners made their chocolate hearts and painted their picnic packets the day before the picnic. They also made extra chocolate hearts to give to their favourite doctors and nurses.

On Valentine's Day the children were collected from the wards and taken to an area within the hospital grounds to play games and to enjoy all the goodies in their picnic packets. Extra picnic packets were provided for the children who could not go outside for the picnic.
