Every Wednesday the children receive a visit from Mr Stan Hobbs and Benjy, the dog. They have become firm favourites with the children as they bring much joy and laughter. Uncle Stan and Benjy belong to an organization called Pets as Therapy. Benjy is a Maltese X dog who wears a beautiful scarf around his neck and allows the children to play with him. Benjy also enjoys the special dog biscuits that René bakes for him.
