Internet crossword 1
- In the past you have done crosswords created for you. Now it is time to create
your own crossword about the Internet, anything and everything about the Net.
- First decide on your clues and answers. You need at least 10. They must be
clear, relevant to the Internet and make sense. You can find useful definitions in
your glossary or textbook.
- Find a crossword-making computer program. Your crossword must be made to print on
paper. You may wish to search for software for creating crossword using Google http://www.google.com You can create crossword
(criss cross) puzzles online at http://puzzlemaker.school.discovery.com
for
printing. You can use software from www.x-word.com (demo version found in the
Resources folder on the disk).
- Create the crossword and hand in printed, one without the answers and one where it has
been completed (in pen, pencil or printed). It must work.
- Onsite learners submit the work stapled together.
- Online learners fax the crosswords. Phone two days after submitting the work to discuss the
task - no phone call results in a disappointed teacher.
