Modern computer giants
- Create your own exciting PowerPoint presentation with VBA of 6-10 slides on a
person(s) who has/have contributed to modern computers, e.g. Marc Andreessen, Tim
Berners-Lee, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, John Sculley, Masayoshi Son, etc.
AND the field/area/business in which they worked.
- You need Multipages and Text tips and a Quiz.
- The presentation may only move to new screen when a bookmark
is clicked.
- Create a master slide with your own special design and logo for your person.
- Use suitable images to enhance the meaning of the presentation.
- You need an 'index' type page with links to different pages. The examples shown
below have good examples.
- Do not use slide transitions. Do not use animations.
- It must impress with information and VBA skills of multipages, text tips and quizzes.
- Look at the following PPT tutorials on computer networks to get ideas: Maxwell+Bloem (zipped 244kb), Grewe + Thonissen (zipped 194kb), Stevens + Wheeler (zipped 380kb) and Maxwell+Bloem (302kb), Grewe
+ Thonissen (238kb), Stevens + Wheeler (439kb).
It is better to view these PPTs from PowerPoint itself and not via a web browser.
- Consult the check list for assessment criteria.
- Presentations will be evaluated on computer.
- Online learners must zip it before they send it to school.
Online learners phone your teacher two days after submission to discuss the task.
