The organisation of this examination was modelled on the practical examination to be written at the end of the Grade 12 matric 1999.
A printed question paper (Word document) was given to each learner, with an Excel annexure and a disk with three files. The disk contained a Word processing file tele, an Excel spreadsheet file forest and an Access database file software. The work had to done using the applications on our system. At the end of the time period the learners had to hand in their disks.
The work was marked using a rubric, and examples of the word processor document and the spreadsheet.
