Question 4 - Data communication - 15 marks

A high school is planning a second computer centre. This centre will be used for Computer Studies as well as Computer Aided Design. The plan is to have eight computers and a printer around every table. See the complete layout below: 

  1. Give two advantages of a network. (2)
  2. Why would a server-based network be a good idea for the layout in the above example? (2)
