A. Web design examination

Only do what is required and nothing else. The exam question paper is found in the Shared drive / CSSG / examold / 0211webmappub.htm Make sure every page is saved. Save your work on a regular basis.

Open the web Fastfood by opening the file fastfood / index.htm found in your directory. Complete the following tasks based on the specified files.

chhist.htm - Between the paragraphs beginning However, much fast food ... and What is attributable ... add a table with two columns, headings bold [1], headings centred [1], columns just wide enough [1], and the border wide and bright red [1], table centred on the screen [1]. Type the information below in the table, for every spelling error a mark off.

chhist.htm - Add a clipart picture of the world. Save it in the images folder. Make a hyperlink (round shape is fine) from the country China or France or India (image map) back to the file index.htm You must be geographically correct.

index.htm - Add a crossword puzzle underneath the text. The clues are found at the bottom of this page. The crossword must have at least 5 clues and answers [5]. It must work on the page and the examiner must be able to find the answers automatically [1].

index.htm - Add the words Fast Foods in the status bar.

index.htm - Add a Welcome to Fast foods JavaScript alert button

chdefi.htm - Below the text add a tile puzzle using the graphic chmac.jpg [5]. Insert a complete picture above the puzzle [1].

chhist.htm - Add an animated graphic with four graphics telling a story [4]. It must end with a long pause [1], before it animates itself again. The story line is below. Good art work is not required.

chquiz.htm - Make sure questions 6-10 work as a quiz. Questions 1-5 work.

B. Desk top publishing

Create a newletter in Publisher about the fast food business. Use all the text in the file fastfoods.doc found in your login. Rename the file YourSurname_FirstName.

C. Using Microsoft Map

Using Microsoft Map create a map of Europe indicating the population figures of the following countries in millions:

Add the labels of the countries Germany, France and Spain. Make each label point size 18 [1] and Comic Sans font [1].	2
Add the words Atlantic Ocean in the ocean area, any readable font and size [1]. Make the shading 'Category shading' [1].	2
Legend: Add the following: Title - European countries [1], Sub title - Population [1].	2
Add your name as a footer. No name no mark.
Print in landscape on one page [1].	1
When printed make sure the data information is visible. Only one printing is allowed.
