Section H - Business and Presentation skills - 12 marks

  1. Bad question - very difficult to mark - question copied from matric 2001 paper.
    1. The slides should not every single piece of information so the audience can read it. [1]
    2. The slides should not contain as many colours as possible to hold the audience's attention. [1]
    3. Lots of different typefaces will make the slides too busy and lose the viewer. [1]
    4. The message should be clearly outlined without a lot of extra words. True [1]
  2. Very difficult to mark - question copied from matric 2001 paper - kids could not explain
    1. type lower down the page than usual - leave space for pre-printed letterhead [1]
    2. use a template [1]
  3. no paper in printer, paper jam, incorrect printer drivers, connection between computer and printer broken, insufficient printer RAM [3]
  4. date - when bought, hyperlink - to band's web site, OLE - picture of artists, number - amount of stock  [3]
